KARDEMIR IRON & STEEL FACTORY

BLAST FURNACES DATA LOGGING & ALARM SYSTEM (1993):

In this project, 3 data logging and alarm system is installed for each blast furnace at Kardemir Factory. Each unit collects analog data from 96 different points and compares them with set points to detect alarm. All data are collected and stored at PC. PC System has mimic, bar graph and trend display facilities.

NEW STEEL PLANT MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND AUTOMATION SYSTEM (1998-99):

In this project, Kardemir new steel plant

-2 Oxygen converters drive system and automation
-Flux charging system, including batching units, filling system and automation for each converter.
-Additive charging system, including batching units, filling system and automation for each converter.
-2 Mixers burning system, mixer scales and automation.
-Scrap weighing, crap scales and automation.
-2 Oxygen Lance Automation Systems.
-Fully integrated automatic control system for steel plant using Siemens S5 PLC and COROS MMI Package.
-2nd Level Computer System including steel model calculation program.
